How Todd Lubar Became Successful In The World Of Real Estate

Todd Lubar is a successful Bethesda, Maryland businessman who has been involved over the years in a number of industries, most notably the real estate industry. After graduating from Syracuse University with a degree in speech communications in hand he got a job at Crestar Mortgage Corporation. He spent four years at this company and learned a lot about real estate mortgages and best lending practices.

In 1999, Todd Lubar joined Legacy Financial Group where he continued to offer real estate loans to homeowners in Maryland. His work at this firm resulted in an increase of several hundred million dollars worth of loan activity each year he worked there. After six years he left in order to become a senior vice president for another lending company, Charter Funding.

Over the years Todd Lubar has also been developed businesses in a number of other industries, especially around 2007 and 2008 when the real estate market in the United States crashed. He started a commercial demolition company as well as a recycling company. Todd also started a nightclub during this time. At his demolition business, he was able to sign contracts with some of the largest general contractors around. His recycling company was also successful and ultimately issued a successful IPO and became a publicly traded company. Visit Patreon to know more.

Eventually, Lubar moved back to the real estate industry and now has a mortgage company called TDL Global Ventures for which he serves as the president. One of the things that Todd Lubar has learned during his career is that when you get knocked down you’ve got to get right back up and keep slugging away. His first business ended up a disaster and he says he pretty much lost everything. He says this didn’t cause him to lose his motivation and he went to work starting another business using a different approach. The new idea worked and he went on to establish a successful business.
