The entrepreneur journey of Mike Baur began at the age of 39 years in 2004. Together with two partners, he established Swiss Startup Factory to support and mentor young innovators in the digital field. Swiss Startup Factory is a privately owned and independently financed company. It’s a different investment in Switzerland running three-month accelerator programs regularly for technology entrepreneurs.

Established in Zurich in 2014, Swiss Startup Factory main aim was to identify and also support thriving and nascent digital entrepreneurs. SSUF run the regular programs where young innovators get mentorship and training in areas such as office space, finance, investor network and the entrepreneurial network. These programs help them to develop the innovative capacity that will enable them to compete in the international markets. In the course of the three-month program, the chosen startups are then taken through various paces and then tested to make sure that they can come up with a business idea and sell it to prospective investors.
In the same year Mike founded SSUF he also created a new company known as Think Reloaded. This firm offers complex financial guidance for affluent clients. He began serving as the deputy managing director of the investments in less than two years later when the company started collaborating with SSUF. The two companies work together to give training and organize an event known as Swiss Startup Day. Then, in July 2016 Swiss Startup Factory formed a partnership with BV4. This firm evaluates the monetary values of inventions, ideas as well as other intellectual properties. The appraisal services it offers can assist entrepreneurs to gain financing.
